AUGUST 7, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – There was no shortage of headlines on Tuesday evening at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway and it all began with the first appearance of racing during the Winnebago County Fair after a couple year absence. Attendees with a fair general admission ticket were admitted free to the evening’s racing events which made for a good crowd at the third-mile clay oval.

Got the Need for Speed? Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway has the cure.

On Tuesday August 21 and Friday August 24 the Speedzone will be the place to be. The most powerful cars on dirt will be at the Speedzone.

Tuesday August 21 will host the Badger Modified Tour, WDLMA Late Models and Leon's Frozen Custard IMCA Northern Sport Mods, this will be a points show for the Sport Mods. Pricing for this event will be $15.00 for adults, students 11-15 $10.00 and kids 10 and under free with paid adults. Pit passes are just $25.00.

AUGUST 3, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – The Leroy Dehn Memorial race presented by Knaus Cheese and Weyauwega Star Dairy is one for the record books. A huge late season turnout of competitors came out to test their talents on the third-mile clay oval as 130 cars entered the pit area for competition.

July 30, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – The Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway stood idle for much of the month of July. Two festivals on the track grounds and a rainout left the raceway with a leisurely two event schedule during the month.

That’s about to change! It’s time to “get busy” at The Zone.

The month of August will truly have something for everyone as the third-mile clay oval will play host to seven different racing events.

July 27, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – The evening at Oshkosh Speedzone proved to be an almost flawless night. Several feature contests were decided on the final lap, three local racing legends were honored for the accomplishments of their storied careers, over 110 cars were on hand for the show and fans got to witness all the action for a mere $5.

The program which saw 21 events take place plus the on track induction ceremonies, would be completed in just over three hours and fifteen minutes.

July 19, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – It’s been two years since people in attendance at the Winnebago County Fair have had an opportunity to experience short track racing action during the fair. For the first time since 2010 fair goers will have an opportunity to witness one of the best weekly racing shows around and enjoy the festivities of the Winnebago County Fair held at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

It has been so long since rain last touched the ground at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway that many people may have been shocked by its presence on the scheduled Coors Light Walk of Fame Night at the third-mile clay oval. It was the first complete rainout of a race program during the 2012 racing season at the track.

The races for tonight, July 17th are cancelled due to the rain.

Oshkosh, WI – The 2012 version of the Coors Light Walk of Fame Classic at the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway, slated for Tuesday night, July 17th, has taken another step toward a true throwback event with the announcement that for the first time in track history the modified division will qualify prior to the start of the racing program.

Oshkosh, WI, July 6, 2012: One on of the hottest nights on record at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway a solid showing of dedicated fans and drivers were on hand at the third-mile clay oval. Overcoming oppressive heat a field of 113 drivers checked into the pit area for competition on Dominos Pizza Night of Fire. A fitting name given the weather conditions and a fine fireworks display which was presented by Speilbauer Fireworks after the racing events. The display was set off by Michelle Loy a former modified competitor who was the head pyrotechnic in charge of the fireworks show.
