The stage has been set for what’s to be one of Speedzone’s biggest events, the 2011 Walk of Fame.

The 2011 Walk of Fame will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2011. This night is dedicated to racing from the past from Leo’s Speedway days. The Oshkosh Speedzone honors racers, crew members, track officials or someone within the days of Leo’s Speedway. Also for the Walk of Fame we will have $5.00 admissions, $1.00 Hotdogs, $1.00 soda and beer. We will also have or regular night of racing with the Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Total Power Sales Street Stocks, Leon’s frozen Custard Sport Modifieds and the awesome Lynn’s Service Center Dirt Devils. Pit gates open at 4:00 PM, grandstands at 5:00 PM with racing at 6:30 PM.

Friday, June 24, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - Rain had stopped just in time this week as the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway was able to hold it's Coors Light / Total Power Sales Driver's Sponsor Appreciation Night program as planned. After four straight days of rain track officials managed to whip the racing surface into shape to present the program.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway will be in action this Friday Night, June 24th. Weather is improving and we expect the Coors Light / Total Power Sales Driver's Sponsor Appreciation Night to go on as scheduled

Wednesday, June 21st, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - Five divisions of racing will roar into action this coming Friday Night as the rain delayed Driver's Sponsor Appreciation Night is held at the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. This event is the tracks way of supporting it's drivers by giving driver's complementary tickets to give to their sponsors. This gives drivers an opportunity to build their relationship with the sponsors of their cars by giving them free passes to the track. Drivers who file a form are given tickets to distribute.

The practice for tonight has been cancelled due to the rain.

Friday, June 17, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - The Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway held its first big special event of 2011 and fans turned out in great numbers at the traveling IRA Outlaw Sprint series made its first of two scheduled appearances this season. The program, contested on a nearly perfect racing surface allowed drivers to get the most speed possible out of third machines, with transponder times showing the cars approaching the 100mph mark on the third-mile clay oval.

Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - Mother Nature chalked up her first victory of 2011, forcing postponement of the Driver's Sponsor Appreciation Night until June 24th, but that blemish aside the 2011 season is shaping up to be a very successful season. Decent crowds have appeared each night to witness over 100 cars take to the racetrack, and the shows have been highly competitive as no single driver has won more than two features thus far. The events have also been run in a timely fashion with only one race night finishing after the 10:00pm mark making a fast paced program the norm here at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway.

When it comes to sheer speed and power, few classes of cars can thrill like outlaw sprint cars. The light weight, open-wheeled machines produce nearly 800 horsepower and can reach speeds of 120 mph on the semi-banked third-mile clay oval here at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. True masters of speed, you won't see anything faster take to the track at Oshkosh Speedzone this year.

The IRA Outlaw Sprints have been a feature special event at Oshkosh Speedzone for many seasons due to their popularity at the raceway. On Friday Night June 17th, the first of two appearances this season will be held for the cars.

Friday, June 10th, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI- Due to the rain, the races for tonight have been canceled. The Driver Sponsor Appreciation Night will be June 24, 2011.

That program will be presented by Coor's Light and Total Power Sales and will feature all five divisions of racing with over 100 cars expected to participate in the event.

There are two events taking place this coming week.
