Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - Speed and power is what defines motorsports, fans gather to watch the fastest drivers in each race make their way to victory. When it comes to sheer speed and power, few classes of cars can thrill like outlaw sprint cars. The light weight, open-wheeled machines produce nearly 800 horsepower and can reach speeds of 120 mph on the semi-banked third-mile clay oval here at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. True masters of speed, you won't see anything faster take to the track at Oshkosh Speedzone this year.
The IRA Outlaw Sprints have been a feature special event at Oshkosh Speedzone for many seasons due to their popularity at the raceway. On Friday Night June 17th, the first of two appearances this season will be held for the cars.
