Oshkosh, September 7- Despite two separate late morning thunderstorms that caused a delay in starting the Speedzone Fall Classic Saturday afternoon, and a serious threat of an early evening storm, the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway was able to complete their full program with 134 cars in six divisions and a hearty crowd confident in the days activities.

The field included 37 IMCA Modifieds, 23 IMCA Sport Mods, 18 IMCA Stock Cars, 18 Grand Nations, 17 Street Stocks and 22 Dirt Devils.

We are going to do what we can to get the races in today. If we start later than 2 we do! RACES are ON!!!!!!

Late cut off is 1:15 PM for today for the Speedzone Fall Classic.

The Oshkosh Speedzone is proud to announce the 2013 Track Champions!
Due to my error in not following the rules when it comes down to a tie for championships, I regret that I made the wrong statement about the Grand National Champions.

September 5, 2013 OSHKOSH, WI –Grand National

I would like to clear up a few things about the Speedzone Fall Special!

First of all it is a 1 day special not a 2 day special like the other specials! I am going to compare the payout for the same classes only!

The Specials that are out there right now show pit passes as follows,

There has been some confusion about the Fall Classic and the pit gate fee.

This use to be a 2 day event where a weekend pass was $50.00 and single day was $30.00. The management moved it to a 1 day special and DID NOT DECREASE the purse, in fact we increased the purse. The thinking was to save drivers from traveling 2 days as well as fans, also competing with WIR'S Eve of Destruction on that Friday night.

Hope this clears up any questions or confusion.
