Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI -One of the main challenges of being a publicist for a raceway is providing the means necessary to communicate with it's fan base. We at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway stepped up the process during the 2011 season providing several means to connect with both fans and drivers.
To be sure to never miss an issue log onto the track website at www.thespeedzone.net and click the "Subscribe to Newsletter" icon on the right side of the main webpage.
In addition to the newsletter, the track website keeps fans in touch with all the latest race reports, a complete season schedule and links to various other forms of information we have available including a listing of all our track supporters.
Fans can check our track sponsors page and use the services provided by these sponsors as a means to support the track and receive quality services from companies who support your sport. There is also a page dedicated to showing the action from Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway as Sonntag Photography publishes a wide variety of photos each week.
The track has also launched a new mobile website designed for use with Internet capable smart phones. Located at www.speedzonemobile.com fans can browse the website and read about their favorite drivers while at the raceway. Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway has wireless Internet available in the grandstands courtesy of Northern Telephone and Data (NTD) of Oshkosh.
Not to be overlooked is the track Facebook page, revamped for the 2011 season to provide even more information. The Facebook page is found at www.facebook.com/thespeedzone, it's a great way to communicate with fellow fans and drivers.
We've also produced a YouTube Video page. This page will show highlights of each racing event held during the 2011 season. The videos are about 15 minutes in length will show firsthand the action taking place at the raceway. Our YouTube page can be found at www.youtube.com/speedzonevids.
For those needing up to the minute information we also have a Twitter page which will automatically send you notices when we've made updates to any of our information services. The Twitter page can be found at www.twitter.com/thespeedzone
