Something For Everyone at The Zone This Friday During Shoreview Lanes / B-104 Fan and Driver Appreciation Night at the Races.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway will be a busy place on Friday evening, as the track will be presenting it's first racing program since July 29th. Shoreview Lanes and B-104 will be presenting sponsors of the Fan and Driver Appreciation Night and the number of festivities during the evening is staggering.

Shoreview Lanes, the primary sponsor of the event, is a Family Entertainment Center featuring bowling and games including Thunder Alley Bowling from 9:00pm to Midnight every Friday and Saturday Night where you can bowl for just $10 during the entire time.

Thursday Nights Thunder Alley Bowling is FREE. Fall Leagues are also starting soon for those looking to do some league bowling.
Highlighting the evening's program with be the Fan and Driver appreciation as the raceway will be giving away FREE corn and beverages after the races. During the race program both a fans and drivers will be eligible for hundreds of dollars worth of prizes to be doled out during the evening. Tickets will be given out during the show to be eligible for the prize giveaways.

Kid's also join in the fun as B-104 will present the Final Ride Along of the 2011 season. The event will take place for children arriving prior to the scheduled start time of 6:30pm. Those children will be able to take a ride around the racetrack with their favorite drivers.

Also taking place during the show will be the Brenner Family Benefit. M.J. Brenner a competitor in the Dirt Devil division lost her home to a fire recently, and the racetrack will be setting up donation barrels at both the main entrance and pit area. Donations of durable goods, food and clothing will be accepted. Her four daughters are sizes, 24m, 3 Toddler, 7-8 and 10-12.

The on track racing action will feature over 100 of Wisconsin's top dirt track racers competing in five divisions. Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Leon's Frozen Custard Sport Modifieds, Total Power Sales Street Stocks and Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils will all be in action. It's down to the wire in the 2011 title chase so expect lots of fender rubbing action as drivers fight not only for the feature victory but to secure their place in the point standings.

Adult tickets are just $10, with student tickets for students ages 11 to 15 at the discounted price of only $5. Children 10 years of age and under are admitted FREE with an adult.

Grandstands Open at 5:00pm with racing set to get underway at 6:30pm.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is a 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Sunnyview Expo Center which resides near the intersection of Highways 76 and County Trunk Y in Oshkosh. Weekly racing Friday Night racing continues until September.
