SPEEDZONE ROARS BACK INTO ACTION ON B-104 / TOTAL POWER SALES NIGHT THIS FRIDAY

Oshkosh, WI, May 9, 2012: After a successful start to the 2012 season last Friday evening, the Oshkosh Speedzone roars to life again this Friday evening, May 11th as the raceway hosts another exciting five division racing program. The event will be presented by two longtime track supporters.

B-104 (WBJZ-104.7fm) has been a track supporter the past several seasons. The Oshkosh based Contemporary Hits Radio station is responsible for reaching the younger crowd throughout the area and has been a supporter of Oshkosh area activities and events since the station became owned by Marty Schibbelhut in 2008. The radio station has popular programming including Marty in the Morning, 90's at 9, Old School Weekends, and American Top 40 w/Seacrest. With the theme of #1 for Hits n' Fun B-104's presence at the track should help make for a fun evening this Friday at the Speedzone.

The co-sponsor of the event will be Total Power Sales which enters it's fifth consecutive season as a track supporter. Know as the division sponsor for the Total Power Sales Street Stocks, the business is a locally owned outdoor power equipment center that has been in Oshkosh since 1973.

They are a Master service dealer for Toro consumer equipment, including walk mowers, tractors, zero-turn and snowblowers. They are also a Lawn-boy and Ariens dealer. T-P Sales handles a full line of Echo power equipment including string trimmers, chain saws, leaf blowers and hedge clippers. They even have a green house in the spring!

T-P Sales has the training and expertise to repair most brands with pick-up and delivery also available. They offer pre-season specials on tune-ups and maintenance packages for both mowers and snowblowers.

If you're in need of anything in outdoor power equipment, whether it's sales, service or just a little helpful information, stop out at T-P Sales. A half mile west of Hwy 41 on Old Omro Rd., just a quarter mile west of the Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Oshkosh.

On the track during the evening will be all five weekly point divisions with action featured in the Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Leon's Frozen Custard IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds, Total Power Sales Street Stocks and Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils.

Last week 123 cars checked into the pit area headed up by 39 of the area's best Modified racers. The main event was captured by Mike Mullen.

Action will get underway at 7:00pm.

Adult admission tickets are just $10, students ages 11 through 15 are admitted for just $5 and children 10 and under are free to attend the races.
